Severe SEN Tutor Wanted - Flexible & Highly Rewarding 1:1 Role
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Are you a qualified teacher or experienced tutor looking to step out of the classroom and into meaningful one-to-one support? Do you have a strong background working with students with severe Special Educational Needs? We are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and skilled Severe SEN Tutor to support learners in Corby and the surrounding Northamptonshire area.

Role Details:
Pay: £30 - £35 per hour DOE
DBS: Must hold an up-to-date DBS on the Update Service
Focus: Tailored, specialist support for students with severe SEN
Location: Corby and surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver highly personalised lessons tailored to the complex needs of students with severe SEN
Create a structured, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
Implement effective strategies to manage challenging behaviours and support emotional regulation
Build trust, confidence, and independence through consistent support
Track progress carefully and provide detailed monthly reports
Deliver creative, hands-on, and sensory-based activities to support learning and development
Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to education
