SEND Teacher| September Start | Immediate Paid Trials |Brent,North London

This fantastic SEN School are on the hunt for an amazing a SEN Teacher to deliver the most enriching lessons to SEN pupils. You will be teaching a range of ASD students. Pupils catered for: Pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) but may not yet have a diagnosis, though they display traits of Autism and associated conditions.Nestled in a nurturing and inclusive environment with its emphasis on holistic development, this amazing Alternate Referral Provision stands as a beacon of hope and excellence in the SEN community

Role: SEND Teacher

Contract: Full Time

Location: NW2, Brent

Rates: £200-£240 per day

Interview: Paid Trial Days

SEN Teacher | About the school

Curriculum focus: Following the National Curriculum, with a thematic approach

Class size and support: Maximum of 6 pupils per class with one Teacher and one Teaching Assistant

Years: Ranging from Year 3 to Year 11

SEN Teacher | Responsibilities

  • For this SEN Teacher role, you will need to demonstrate your enthusiasm and pro-activeness. You will need to motivate these students and work with students with complex needs.
  • You will need to prepare creative and innovate lessons for the students in accordance with their EHCP. Subject knowledge is vital.
  • Teaching lessons, preparing lessons, marking and participation within parents' evening will be expected.

SEN Teacher | Requirements

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree/Qualifications in Special Education or a related field is desirable.
  • Previous experience working with children with severe SEN and disabilities.
  • Understanding of various disabilities and SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, physical disabilities, and cognitive impairments.

SEN Teacher | Qualifications/Experience

  • Subject knowledge within SEN primary is essential
  • Experience working within SEN is essential. Especially working with mild/moderate needs including: ASD, ADHD, speech and language
  • ECT/Newly Qualified SEN Teachers will be considered for this position
