SEN Teacher (QTS) - Brent | Long-Term Supply | Newly Established SEN School

Location: Brent, North West London

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Supply

Start Date: September 2025

Would you like to play a key role in shaping the future of a brand-new SEN school?

Remedy Education is proud to be working with a newly established Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in the London Borough of Brent. This unique setting caters to pupils in Years 3 to 11, most of whom have EHCPs and are exhibiting traits of Autism and associated conditions, even if not formally diagnosed.

About the School:

  • Newly opened SEN school serving Years 3 to 11
  • Pupils have EHCPs, often with traits of ASD or related conditions
  • Follows the National Curriculum using a thematic approach
  • Small class sizes: maximum of 6 pupils, supported by 1 Teacher + 1 TA
  • Committed to providing personalised, nurturing education in a structured environment

What We're Looking For:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential
  • Strong SEN experience, especially in Autism spectrum needs
  • Confident teaching across Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4
  • Able to differentiate learning for pupils with varying needs and abilities
  • A calm, flexible, and pupil-centred approach to behaviour and progress

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver creative and inclusive lessons that follow a thematic curriculum
  • Support pupils' academic, emotional and social development
  • Collaborate with TAs, therapists and external agencies
  • Use EHCP outcomes to track and report on individual progress
  • Foster a positive, structured and encouraging classroom environment
