SEN Teacher (QTS) - Brent | Long-Term Supply | Newly Established SEN School
Location: Brent, North West London
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Supply
Start Date: September 2025

Would you like to play a key role in shaping the future of a brand-new SEN school?
Remedy Education is proud to be working with a newly established Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in the London Borough of Brent. This unique setting caters to pupils in Years 3 to 11, most of whom have EHCPs and are exhibiting traits of Autism and associated conditions, even if not formally diagnosed.
About the School:
- Newly opened SEN school serving Years 3 to 11
- Pupils have EHCPs, often with traits of ASD or related conditions
- Follows the National Curriculum using a thematic approach
- Small class sizes: maximum of 6 pupils, supported by 1 Teacher + 1 TA
- Committed to providing personalised, nurturing education in a structured environment
What We're Looking For:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential
- Strong SEN experience, especially in Autism spectrum needs
- Confident teaching across Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4
- Able to differentiate learning for pupils with varying needs and abilities
- A calm, flexible, and pupil-centred approach to behaviour and progress
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver creative and inclusive lessons that follow a thematic curriculum
- Support pupils' academic, emotional and social development
- Collaborate with TAs, therapists and external agencies
- Use EHCP outcomes to track and report on individual progress
- Foster a positive, structured and encouraging classroom environment
