Remedy Recruitment Group are looking for a Qualified Social Worker for a Children With Disabilities Team for Croydon Council.

Job Purpose

The core of this role is to directly deliver - or contribute to the delivery of - positive safety and well-being outcomes for children in need and their families, including those in need of protection and those looked after. For looked after children, a key outcome will be the achievement of permanence. These outcomes are achieved by the effective exercise of the following functions in respect of the children and families worked with:

Engagement and relationship building / maintaining;

Analytical and continuous assessment

Making professional judgements and recommendations on the basis of assessment and review

Development, co-ordination, implementation and review of Social Worker JD role profile1 Page 3 of 10 evidence-based plans; ensure that assessments, plans and advice are framed and reviewed in terms of desired outcomes for a child/young person and family

The provision of direct help by the worker

You will need to be:

HCPC registered

Eligible to work in the UK
