Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Secondary SEN school based in Greenwich
Position: Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Greenwich, South East London
Sector: Education and Training
Duration: Temporary / Ongoing
Are you a dedicated and qualified Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children's learning? We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join a large Secondary SEN school based in Grewnwich.
About the Role: As a Qualified Teaching Assistant, you will provide invaluable support to teachers and students across KS3 and KS4. Your role will be to help create a positive and effective learning environment in a Secondary SEN school based in Greenwich.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide support to individual students and small groups to enhance their learning.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of classroom activities.
Requirements:
- Hold a Cache / NVQ Level 2, 3, or 4 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- Be able to provide reference details from your most recent employment and covering the last 24 months.
- Hold or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Experience supporting children in a classroom setting across KS3 and KS4 for six months or more.

- Passionate about supporting children's educational and personal development.
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively with teaching staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
