Teaching Assistant - Sports Background

Location: South East London
Pay: £90 - £110 per day
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Start Date: ASAP

We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant with a strong sports background to join a friendly and supportive school in South East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, has a passion for physical activity, and wants to make a real difference to pupils' engagement and wellbeing.

The role:

• Support pupils in class and during sports or physical activity sessions

• Use your sports knowledge and coaching skills to motivate and inspire students

• Assist teachers with lesson delivery, behaviour support, and classroom management

• Work 1:1 or with small groups to build focus, confidence, and teamwork skills

• Encourage active learning and promote a healthy lifestyle among pupils

You'll need:

• A minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• A sports-related qualification or background in coaching, PE, or fitness

• Energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for helping young people succeed through learning and sport
