Remedy Education is working closely with a welcoming SEN school in Enfield to appoint a Humanities Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity in a specialist setting that supports young people with SEND and SEMH needs.

The Role - SEN Humanities Teacher

• Teach Humanities subjects (e.g., History, Geography, RE) to students aged 11-16 with EHCPs and additional needs

• Deliver differentiated lessons designed to support varied learning styles and ability levels

• Collaborate with LSAs, therapists, SENCOs, and other staff to create a holistic learning environment

• Encourage student engagement, independence, and progress through creative and structured teaching approaches

• Support pupils with autism, speech & language needs, and behavioural challenges in achieving their academic goals

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Strong subject knowledge in at least one Humanities area

• Experience teaching in SEN, PRU, SEMH, or alternative provision (preferred but not essential)

• Passionate about inclusive education, with the creativity and resilience to support learners with complex needs
