SEN Humanities Teacher - Enfield - Full-Time - September 2025 - SEN Secondary School (Ages 11-16)
Pay: Depending On Experience
Remedy Education is working closely with a welcoming SEN school in Enfield to appoint a Humanities Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity in a specialist setting that supports young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
The Role - SEN Humanities Teacher
Teach Humanities subjects (e.g., History, Geography, RE) to students aged 11-16 with EHCPs and additional needs
Deliver differentiated lessons designed to support varied learning styles and ability levels
Collaborate with LSAs, therapists, SENCOs, and other staff to create a holistic learning environment
Encourage student engagement, independence, and progress through creative and structured teaching approaches
Support pupils with autism, speech & language needs, and behavioural challenges in achieving their academic goals

What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge in at least one Humanities area
Experience teaching in SEN, PRU, SEMH, or alternative provision (preferred but not essential)
