Job description

Our client, Durham County Council is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their Central Families First team.

Families First teams are statutory teams responsible for children and young people from the point of referral to the point of making plans for permanence. We need someone who can 'hit the ground running' so it's important that you have CP and Care Proceedings experience, as you will complete some of the C&F assessments coming into the team and carry a mixture of CIN, CP and court work. We are currently embedding Signs of Safety so knowledge and experience of this would be helpful, but support and training will be given if needed. We currently offer a hybrid model of working, with a mixture of home and office working, supported by good technological equipment and access (we use the Liquid Logic Children's Integrated System). The role is for a full time post, 37 hours a week.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE THE CORRECT EXPERIENCE - YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE RESPONDED TO.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
