Job description

Commissioning lead for Sexual Health - Surrey County Council - Up to £600per day

  • Experience of sexual health procurements and contract management in a local authority (sexual health experience specifically)
  • Budget management experience
  • Relevant public health qualifications (MPH or equivalent)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • For the previous two years, sexual health has been commissioned in Surrey by a Senior Public Health lead (with less than one year of experience in the role), along with a Consultant in Public Health covering several other portfolio areas. Both posts were less than full time.
  • This temporary role will cover both roles during the procurement of the specialist sexual health service. This is to cover maternity leave for the Senior Public Health Lead and an upcoming vacancy within the consultant team.
  • There is now also a Public Health Lead for Sexual Health.
