Are you a patient, resilient, and passionate Teaching Assistant looking to support children with behavioural needs?

A supportive and inclusive school in Lewisham is seeking a full-time Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils who may present challenging behaviour, helping them to engage with their learning and develop positive relationships in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural and emotional needs

• Implementing behaviour management strategies set by the school SENCO and class teacher

• Supporting pupils in and outside of the classroom

• Assisting with personal care when required

• Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children with behavioural needs or SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)

• Be calm, caring, and adaptable to the needs of each child

• Be comfortable providing personal care where necessary

• Be available full-time, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm

• Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
