We're looking for a Youth Mental Health Support Worker to join a caring and dedicated team, providing vital emotional and practical support to children and young people facing social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

Key Responsibilities
As a Youth Mental Health Support Worker, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for young people with mental health and emotional needs.
- Help students develop emotional regulation, confidence, and positive coping skills.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support.
- Encourage engagement in learning and social activities.
- Support the creation of a safe, nurturing environment that promotes wellbeing and inclusion.
Requirements
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience supporting children or young people with mental health, behavioural, or emotional needs (school, youth work, care, or community setting).
- A calm, compassionate, and patient approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of young people.
(Relevant qualifications in psychology, counselling, mental health, youth work, or education are desirable but not essential.)
