Remedy recruitment group are currently seeking an experienced social worker, required for a 3 month assignment to join their First Response Team.

Our client requires an experienced (level 3) children's social worker to provide an efficient and effective social work service within the First Response Team

You will need to be experienced in undertaking child and family assessments and have significant experience of working with children and young people in care as a practitioner. You will have a thorough understanding of key legislation, regulations, guidance and frameworks.

You should also have experience of working with complex situations with a focus on problem solving.

It is essential that you have demonstrable knowledge, experience and skill in social work assessments.

You will be able to undertake detailed holistic assessment of children, young people and their families. The ability to write clear and concise reports, to maintain case records and to fulfil administrative requirements is essential.

You will be able to prioritise, meet deadlines and problem solve on a daily basis.

You will have a recognised Social Work qualification (e.g. CQSW, CSS, DipSW, Degree in Social Work) and be registered with Social Work England.

You should also have an enhanced DBS check.

You should also be able to drive and have access to a car.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
