Job description

The successful candidate will be;

  1. Responsible for the development, relationship management and interface with the Service Providers, ensuring that a unified sense of the client premise is maintained at all times.
  2. Familiarise themselves with the detailed content of the service specifications for the Property & Facilities Partnership and support the Senior Corporate Programmes Manager with technical and administrate delivery of the contract.
  3. Monitor the delivery of services to specified Service Level Requirements (SLRs) within the agreed contract terms, to ensure the continuing high quality of service delivery.
  4. Support the Senior Corporate Programmes Manager with driving continuous improvements in the delivery of the services by making recommendations and implementation of the SLRs to ensure that they remain challenging and relevant to the client's changing requirements.
  1. Ensure the Service Provider meets all compliance obligations in relation to Health & Safety as detailed in both the service specifications and those agreed in local Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  2. Upon request, deputise for the Senior Corporate Programmes Manager at internal and external stakeholder meetings, ensuring that the agreed Council position is represented and stakeholder views are reported back.
  3. Support the Senior Corporate Programme Manager to coordinate activities in the event of major or business critical incidents in line with established procedures.
  4. Liaise with the internal stakeholders and Service Providers teams on a daily basis to facilitate operations including requests for information, requests for approval and all other dependencies that the Service Provider has on the client for the delivery of services.
  5. Forward planning of routine and periodic activities and projects with internal stakeholders and any Service Provider.
  6. Managing the annual budget and the processing and checking of invoices and payments.
  7. To manage the frequent review of all projects and to ensure these link with service requirements both currently and in the future.
  8. Establish effective working relationships with service areas to enable PFH&S to play a full and effective role in achieving the Councils strategic objectives.
  9. To communicate fully with all staff and customers and those delivering services, ensuring good management practices at all times
  10. To take ownership and management of the project and programme risk register and communicate identified actions aimed at reducing risk
  11. To fully comply with all relevant health and safety legislation and internal policies and actively promote good health and safety management.
