Our client is looking for an Education Commissioner Place Planning Consultant for a 6 month period to start immediately.

*The main purpose of the job is effective commissioning the aims of the Education Place Planning Team within the Commissioning Economy and Attainment section. The Section undertakes a range of planning functions, including early years, primary, secondary and special educational needs place planning, the client role for the implementation of building schemes, the delivery of education reorganisations.

*The Section works closely with a number of partners and stakeholders, including schools, other Directorates both within and outside Commissioning, Delivery, Localities, Swindon Commercial Services, Council Members, Capita, the DfE and other partners.

*The role involves taking a strategic view of the education organisation needs of the Council and, and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of all aspects of this service.
