Job description

Qualified Social Worker, CIN, North London, up to £32ph

If you are a Qualified Social Worker with a background working with Children in Need, we want to hear from you.

You will be building effective relationship with the Child in question, to ensure a fully integrated and holistic approach.

Main duties include:

  • To assist in providing a stimulating environment which gives care, control and nurture appropriate to safeguarding and promoting the emotional and physical wellbeing of the young people resident at Olive House Children's home. This will involve working closely in partnership with the family of the young person and with others.

  • In collaboration with others to help assess the needs of young people referred to or placed in the unit; to effect an early return home or a move on to an appropriate longer-term placement which may include remaining at Olive House.

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • ASYE complete
  • Experience with Children in Need
