Job description
Our client, Shropshire Council is looking for a Service Manager to deal with Community Social Work teams, Court Deputy, MCA & DoLs, CHC
To progress the ambitious programme of transformational work in Adult Social Care, utilising physical, budgetary and people resources to effectively and efficiently deliver and improve the services of the Council. You will be responsible and accountable for Community Social Work Teams, Court Deputy, MCA & DoLs, Transforming Care and Continuing Healthcare and represent in partnership forums and networks locally, regionally, and nationally ensuring Shropshire and its' partners are engaged as learning organisations delivering best practice. Ensuring service quality consistently meets prescribed and published parameters and standards, current and proposed, with consistently high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of agile performance management processes. Champion operating models and principles, driving efficiency and continuous improvement. You will lead the Operational Management Team within our high quality, supportive Adult Social Care team, as part of a multi-disciplined, forward thinking, commercially aware team of professionals, directly accountable to the Assistant Director, Adult Social Care.
Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
