Job description

Qualified Social Worker,

If you are a Qualified Social Worker with a background working with Children in Need, we want to hear from you.

You will be building effective relationship with the Child in question, to ensure a fully integrated and holistic approach.

Main duties include:

  • Promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of complex children and young people at all times and throughout all aspects of work.
  • Be responsible for managing an independent workload, ensuring legislative and local requirements are met to a high standard and within required timescales.
  • Thoroughly assess, critically analyse, plan and implement suitable interventions for children and young people subject to, or at risk of contextual safeguarding and exploitation, whilst effectively managing risk at all time and seeking support from senior team members when required.

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • ASYE complete
  • Experience with Children in Need
