Remedy Recruitment Group are looking for a Qualified Social Worker for an Assessment team for Liverpool Council.

Job Purpose

The post holder will be expected to undertake the following duties:

- hold and manage a caseload of complex and high risk cases - To act as a mentor and role model for social workers to improve and develop practice

- To play a key role in the development of the team and the service as a whole. The Assessment service are responsible for Initial single Assessments/Section 47 single assessments/Pre-birth assessments for all children/Child in Need

- short term intervention up to 8 weeks/Emergency protection to first interim care order/Child protection to initial child protection conference/Viability assessments/private fostering assessment/16-17 homeless/Section 20 - immediate accommodation

You will need to be:

HCPC registered

Eligible to work in the UK
