SENCO/Inclusion Manager - Start January 2020

  • SENCO
  • Full time
  • Lewisham
  • C of E Primary School
  • 1 form entry
  • Paid to scale

A lovely 1 form south London Church of England primary school are looking for a qualified SEN Coordinator to join their staff from January 2020.

The Role:

The school are looking for an experienced and qualified SENCO to lead special needs support across the whole school. The role has become available as the current SENCO has received a promotion and will be leaving at the end of the autumn term.

There is a larger than average proportion of pupils with special needs within the school and the priority will be to ensure that support is correctly provided for and relevant. An additional 5 children with identified special needs recently joined the school in reception who require full assessments for relevant support and funding.

The position is to start in January 2020, but the school would ideally like to start the contract early to allow time for a handover with the current SENCO.

The School:

The school offers a good education to it's pupils and is led by a dedicated and experienced leadership team. Christian values underpin the core of the school's ethos and approach and help children to achieve their full potential, have a sense of belonging, and encourage their determination, faith, respect and love for each other. Based in Lewisham, the school is easily accessible by public transport links.
