SEN Tutor

Remedy Tutors are currently recruiting for a Tutor for students with complex and moderate SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, ODD) on behalf of the local authority. Tuition is required due to the child not in a current education placement.

Your role will be based around core subjects, but also include additional emotional support such as increasing confidence and building rapport.Working hours could vary from an hour a day to 25 hours a week.

You should have good knowledge of the National Curriculum for SEN with:

• at least 2 year's SEN teaching/tutoring experience in the UK
• a passion to work with and help SEN students progress regardless of their difficulties
• a UK recognised teaching qualification
• a DBS registered on the update service (if not you can apply for a new DBS with Remedy)

Contract length varies and could last a full academic year.
