Remedy Education is working in partnership with an outstanding PMLD school in Lambeth, and we're seeking a caring, committed, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. The school caters to children and young people aged 3-19 who have complex physical and learning needs, including sensory impairments and medical conditions.

🌟 The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant in this specialist setting, you will:

• Support pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities, often on a 1:1 or small group basis

• Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting, feeding, and changing (training provided)

• Use specialist strategies and resources such as sensory integration, Makaton, PECS, and visual timetables

• Work collaboratively with class teachers, therapists, and support staff

• Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment tailored to individual needs

✅ What We're Looking For:

• Experience working in a PMLD or complex needs setting (mainstream SEN experience also considered)

• Comfortable with delivering personal care and supporting physical needs

• Patient, resilient, and empathetic personality

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)

• Right to work in the UK
