SEN Midday Meal Supervisor - Lewisham
Hours: 11:45am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday
Rate: £15 - £16 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:
Remedy Recruitment is currently seeking Midday Meal Supervisors to join a large and inclusive SEN Secondary School in Lewisham, South East London. This rewarding part-time role involves supervising pupils during the lunchtime period, both in the lunch hall and in the playground. You will also assist with personal care and medication, so experience with Autism and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) is essential.
This position is ideal for individuals looking for part-time hours who have previous experience supporting young people with special needs in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising students during lunch, both indoors and outdoors
Supporting pupils with personal care and administering medication as needed
Maintaining a calm, safe, and structured lunchtime environment
Working collaboratively with other midday staff and SEN support teams
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly Autism and PMLD
Confidence managing challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner
Knowledge of health and safety practices in a school setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to travel to Lewisham on a part-time basis
