SEN Primary Teacher

Are you ready to make a difference?

Remedy Education are seeking committed, reliable, passionate teachers for a Primary Learning centre in South London. The school has requested cover for the rest of the academic year, starting from the 19th end of February 2018.

The school strives to meet the diverse and individual needs of its pupils who have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) and have been referred from mainstream education. The pupils often display challenging or confrontational behaviours possibly as a result of social trauma outside the education system.

It is fundamental that any candidate considering this position has prior experience working with students who frequently display challenging or confrontational behaviours. You will need to demonstrate an enthusiastic and caring attitude to work as you will be required to work in small groups or 1-1 with students.

The school are looking for individuals that are:

* Passionate about working in Education
* Experienced working with children with SEMH
* Adaptable, and able to work in a challenging setting
* Interested in working in a different environment
* Committed, resilient and caring

Here at Remedy Education, we strive to ensure that each and every candidate has an opportunity to find their ideal job. For a number of years we are proud to have worked alongside fantastic institutions of learning (Primary, Secondary and SEND) to provide them with high quality teachers and support staff.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £50.00
