SEN Primary Teacher - Redbridge, East London

The school is located across 2 sites, catering for primary and secondary children with SpLD (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia). As well as offering students an engaging curriculum, they also work hard to develop communication and social skills. The school has excellent facilities, offering a wealth of resources to students.

The successful candidate must have proven experience of teaching in the UK, ideally within a SEN school, however the school are happy to meet with mainstream teachers, who have an interest in SpLD. You will have a solid understanding of the primary curriculum, planning engaging and differentiated lessons. With input from the student and parents, you will write and review IEPs. You will work alongside occupational and language therapists, to provide first class lessons that are individualised for each child's needs. The class has 8 students and you will be supported by a teaching assistant.

As a long-term member of staff, you will be expected to attend inset days, meetings, and parents' evenings. A SpLD qualification is desirable.
