Role Overview:

They are seeking a qualified SEN Primary School Teacher with a genuine passion for working with SEN students. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of our students, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with ASD, ADHD, and complex needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN pedagogy and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual student needs.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
