Job description
Qualified SEN teachers and tutors urgently required for September 2022 - primary and secondary outreach - Croydon and surrounding areas - Alternative education provision (not in traditional school setting) with excellent rates of pay. Short and long term work available on a flexible basis, mornings, afternoons and evening work -weekdays and weekends too.
Our tutors work with students that require education in an alternative educational setting, taking place in school annexes, libraries or the student's home. Students requiring tuition fall into the following categories: LAC/CLA, UASC/ESOL, SEMH, SEN/D, SEBD, NEET, EHE to name just a few.
You should have good knowledge of the National Curriculum with:
- at least 2 years' SEN/D teaching experience in the UK
- a UK recognised teaching qualification
- a DBS registered on the update service (if not you can apply for a new DBS with Remedy)
- a passion to help SEN/D students progress and re-engage with learning
