SEN Learning Support Assistant

Location: Greenwich, South East London
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)
Hours: Full-time, 9:00am - 3:30pm, Term-time only
Pay: £95 - £115 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking a calm, compassionate, and proactive SEN Learning Support Assistant to work closely with class teachers and therapists to support the individual needs of our students. The ideal candidate will bring a flexible and empathetic approach, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside teaching staff to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Support students with personal care, communication, sensory, and mobility needs.

  • Help develop and deliver individual care plans and tailored learning activities.

  • Promote independence, life skills, and social interaction in all settings.

  • Participate in school clubs, enrichment programs, and wider school life.

  • Contribute to ongoing assessment and feedback, working in partnership with families and specialists.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working in SEN schools or specialist settings (essential).

  • A calm, compassionate, and flexible attitude.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Educated to at least Level 1 in English and Maths.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.

  • Team player with a strong sense of initiative and a positive mindset.
