The Role :

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Primary Teacher for a Long term to permanent role at a supportive and dynamic SEN primary school in Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed team focused on providing high-quality education and care for children with SEMH.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH challenges
  • Create a safe, nurturing and structured classroom environment
  • Work closely with support staff, parents/carers, and external agencies to support pupil progress
  • Use restorative approaches and positive behaviour strategies to build trust and relationships
  • Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including safeguarding and pastoral support

What We're Looking For :

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • DBS on the update service.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs, ideally within a primary setting
  • Strong classroom management and a calm, consistent approach
  • A passionate, empathetic and adaptable educator
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and collaborative working
