Location: South West London
Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (with the potential to go permanent)
Salary: £160 - £225 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a supportive and well-resourced secondary school?

Remedy Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school in South West London for a qualified and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join the team from September 2025. The successful candidate will teach general science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach a specialism at Key Stage 5.


The Role:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that engage and challenge students

  • Teach across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 delivery depending on experience

  • Assess student progress and adapt teaching to support all learners

  • Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and department goals

  • Take part in departmental meetings, planning, and wider school responsibilities


The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold UK QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Have recent experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting

  • Be confident in delivering Biology, Chemistry or Physics at KS3 and KS4

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and a commitment to student progress

  • Be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
