Job description

Qualified Social Worker, Long Term Team, South East London, up to £35ph

If you are an experienced Qualified Social Worker with a background with Looked after Children, we want to hear from you.

Main duties include:

  • Analysing data and formulate plans for intervention and service provision for children and their families
  • Working in partnership with parents, carers, and other agencies
  • Undertaking direct work with children, young people, parents and carers
  • Producing clear, literate and appropriate records, reports and correspondence for a wide range of readership
  • Organising own work
  • Recognising the limits of own accountability and responsibility, and to seek appropriate support, advice and supervision
  • Using Information Technology, or a commitment to learn

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • ASYE complete
  • Substantial experience within Long Term Team
