Qualified Social Workers x 3, LAC Team, Newham

If you are looking for your next challenge as a Qualified Social Worker, we want to hear from you today.

You will join a stable and dedicated team where management have been in place for over a year.

You must have recent experience within a LAC/CIC team along with strong casehold management experience.

Pay rates are up to £35 per hour depending on experience.

Main duties include:

  • Deliver statutory Looked After Services to children and young people
  • Hold a manageable caseload (up to 15 on average)
  • Provide written and verbal reports which are concise, informative and based on analysis of complex evidence
  • Carry out planned interventions using a range of tried and tested methodologies including systemic and social learning theory approaches

Essential requirements:

  • A social work qualification (degree in social work, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent recognised social work qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Post qualified experience in Looked After Children in the UK
