Qualified Social Worker, Children in Care, Trafford
Remedy Social Care team are looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Permanence Team based in Trafford working with Children in Care.
They have a strong recruitment and retention record in Trafford Children's Social Care with fantastic workforce development opportunities for staff.
5 months assignment
Pay rate: 30ph
Main duties include:
- Provide a purposeful, professional social work service within a multi-agency team to children in care, including the assessment of their needs.
- Undertake assessments in order to plan for children and young people and be able to analyse need and risk.
- Work directly with carers and families employing a range of social work knowledge and skills to identify and assess individual children and young people's needs
Essential requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
- Registration with Social Work England
- ASYE completed
- Child Protection and Anti Discriminatory Practice training
