Qualified Social Worker, Adult Safeguarding, South West London, up to £30ph

If you are an experienced Qualified Social Worker with a background of Adult Safeguarding, we want to hear from you.

Main duties include:

  • Demonstrate and ensure high standards and probity with Council policy, standing orders and the law
  • Form robust and effective working relationships with colleagues across the Council and in partner organisations
  • Work corporately and in line with overall Council objectives to enable the breaking down of Departmental barriers and the delivery of the Council's improvement agenda
  • Promote equality of opportunity and recognition of diversity in the delivery of services and in employment practice
  • To work in partnership with colleagues, other professionals and partner agencies to undertake a holistic assessment of vulnerable adults and their families/carers within the legislative framework and using the eligibility criteria
  • To carry out assessments, casework, support plans and discharge planning as directed

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • ASYE complete
  • Substantial experience with Adult Safeguarding
