Psychology Graduate - SEN Primary School

The Role:

I am currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant for a full-time, long term position starting ASAP.

We are particularly looking for a recent Psychology Graduate who is looking to pursue a career that involves supporting SEN pupils and who would like to build experience working in a SEN school.

Our school has a robust teaching staff and support team, with a range of expertise within SEN education. The school support pupils with complex Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) and Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) such as Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD and Aspergers, and no day will be the same and it's important you adapt to the hustle and bustle of the school setting. You must be able to have a flexible approach with regards to your support style, and have an outgoing nature in order to build rapport with the pupils.

This role would suit a recent Psychology Graduate. Due to the nature of the students, a patient, caring and compassionate approach is needed. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, enthusiastic, well-organised, hard-working and fully committed.
