Worcestershire County Council are looking for a Project Manager.

This means constantly evolving how we operate, innovate and succeed as an organisation. The opportunity We're looking for an experienced, self-motivated, positive and committed Project Manager. The intention is that for successful candidates the project period will be 3 months. However, for the successful candidate, there is the potential that this period could be extended to at least 12 months, working within the Transformation and Commercial Directorate. Allocated projects, to be determined. We will look to you to develop and manage a wide variety of transformation projects within the programme portfolios across Worcestershire County Council and Worcestershire Children First, which focus upon developing new approaches to delivering Adult Social Care and Children's Social Care. The successful Project Manager (s) will work with partners, sponsors, and business leads to implement solutions to ensure our transformation programmes are aligned to corporate and strategic priorities and the medium-term financial plan. Supported by a Programme Portfolio Lead, to ensure the projects are delivered in a robust, efficient, and coordinated manner to deliver benefits and improved outcomes across the county. This role does not support IT specific projects. These roles will operate on a hybrid model combining home working location and in the office 2 days per week, which may be open to negotiation depending on the prospective candidates place of residence. However, there may be a requirement to travel to the offices in Worcestershire more frequently for meetings or to resolve IT issues, so the expectation is that the candidates will be willing to travel as necessary to fulfil the role.
