Primary Teacher & Phase Leader - Lewisham
Salary: £200 - £240 per day
Contract: Long-Term, Term Time Only
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
Remedy Education are supporting a primary PRU in the Lewisham area in their search for an experienced Primary Teacher to take on a combined teaching and leadership role across Key Stage 2. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner ready to step into a wider phase leadership position while continuing to deliver outstanding classroom practice.
The Role:
This position involves teaching across multiple year groups while taking a lead on Key Stage 2 and contributing to intervention support for Year 7 and Year 8 pupils. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will play a key part in raising standards, improving outcomes, and supporting whole-school development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging, effective teaching across the primary phase
* Leading and supporting colleagues within the Key Stage
* Tracking pupil progress and implementing strategies to enhance learning and personal development
* Taking an active role in school improvement and curriculum development initiatives
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong teaching experience, ideally within upper Key Stage 2
* Confident leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide others
* A commitment to inclusive, nurturing education
* Someone who can inspire both staff and pupils
