About the School:
The South East London schools are known for its warm, community-focused environment, where every child is valued, supported, and encouraged to shine. With leadership teams committed to nurturing staff talent, this is a place where you will feel welcomed, appreciated, and genuinely part of something special.
Teachers and support staff work collaboratively to create a calm, engaging atmosphere where children are excited to learn. The schools have:
- Bright, modern classrooms designed to spark curiosity.
- Beautiful outdoor spaces, including sensory areas and nature corners.
- A forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning, with a strong focus on creativity, wellbeing, and personal growth.
- Excellent behaviour, thanks to consistent routines, positive relationships, and strong pastoral teams.
- Endless support for new staff-whether you're experienced or just starting out.
- This is the kind of school where staff stay for years because they genuinely love being there.
The Role As a Day-to-Day Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2-depending on your strengths.
- Assist in creating a positive, nurturing learning environment.
- Provide 1:1 or small-group support where needed.
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
- Step confidently into different classrooms and routines each day.
- Bring energy, patience, and flexibility to every lesson.
What the School Offers You:
- A friendly and supportive team that makes you feel at home from day one.
- Opportunities to gain experience in a range of year groups.
- A chance to work with children who are enthusiastic, polite, and eager to learn.
- Ongoing support from Horizon Teachers.
- A school that truly invests in its staff and celebrates their success.
What We're Looking For:
- A positive, caring, "can-do" attitude.
- Experience working with children.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexibility and reliability.
- A genuine passion for supporting young learners.
Why Remedy:
Remedy is a specialist Education Recruitment Consultancy that helps Teachers and Support Staff find long term, permanent and interim employment in Primary, Secondary and Special Schools throughout London, the South East London. As part of the registration process you will be required to have a DBS Check carried out and all original relevant qualifications will need to be sighted and copied before any work placement. For all teaching roles you will need to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
