Polish-speaking Teaching Assistant - Stratford, Newham

I am currently working with a school in Stratford who are looking for a Teaching Assistant with Polish language skills to support one of their SEMH students 1:1 and assisting with his learning.

The role will be based in an Alternate Provision that provides education for students that have SEN needs; this could be students that have ASD or Special Needs, Behavioural difficulties, or Mental Health difficulties. These schools are often in-between moving from mainstream & secondary schools, young-offenders or children that might have been in and out of social care. The role will be primarily supporting the student academically, but also assisting with managing their behaviour etc.

• You do not need a degree to be considered for this role, although preferable you would.
• Ideally you will have experience working with children.
• And you will definitely need Polish Language skills as this student does speak Polish as his first language.
