PMLD Teacher - Newham, Stratford- Long Term

I am seeking to appoint an excellent experienced PMLD Teacher to an outstanding SEN school based in Newham for pupils from 11-19 with PMLD/SLD/MDVI and autism. The school benefits from excellent staffing ratios, small class sizes and a highly personalised approach to learning.

I am seeking to appoint a PMLD Teacher, starting ASAP to join their expanding team. The school offers state of the art purpose built facilities accessible to all students including those with visual impairment. These include:

• Specially adapted and equipped science, art, music and technology rooms
• Soft Play room
• A Sensory room
• Specially equipped playground
• Two minibuses for use in the community

Experience working with ASD and/or PMLD students is highly desirable. In addition to the class teacher role there is a the possibility of a TLR as the school plans for re-shapes to its leadership model as part of succession planning for the next two to three years. The school are happy for applications from those with recent experience in a UK SEN environment including NQTs, Overseas Trained Teachers (OTTs) either with QTS or with the possibility of obtaining QTS in the next 6-12 months.
