Job description

Our client, Oxofrdshire CC is looking for a Social Worker to join their Childrens team. You will be required to lead CIN plans.

Experience of working with disabled children is essential. You will be required to lead Children in Need plans, Child Protection plans and carry out statutory assessments. Candidates must have a clear understanding of legal frameworks including for children who are looked after by the local authority.

You will need to be able to visit children in their homes and at school in the Oxford area and sometimes those who live in residential homes and foster homes around the country.

Written work, meetings and administration are still being done from home. You need to be computer literate - e.g. information systems such as LCS and carrying out virtual meetings through e.g. MS Teams.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
