To assess the functional abilities, difficulties and needs of people with physical disabilities at home and at the service's drop in clinic.

To review and re-assess service users as required.

To recognise the needs of carers and involve them in the decision making process.

Complete person centred support plans that address the Carers needs and utilise the variety of universal and voluntary services available to Carers in the Local Authorities.

To assess service users with regard to adaptations in their home, to order works/adaptations and to check that works are carried out to the required standard.

These roles would suit an experienced OTA or someone who has recently completed their OT degree.
