Nursery SEN Assistant - Nursery School and Children's Centre - Remedy Education

Remedy Education have recently taken on a new Nursery and Children's Centre based in East London. The centre is a vibrant, culturally diverse inner city nursery school and children's centre, providing rich and stimulating education and care for children under 5 years are looking to appoint a send teaching support assistants to provide one to one support and care for children with send to enable them to attend nursery and build their independence, confidence and education.

The ideal teaching assistant will have some experience of working with children with send and complex allergies requiring a high level of vigilance and administering of medication. There will also be some element of manual handling. The children's centre are looking for a teaching assistant who is enthusiastic, energetic and has the ability to implement consistent boundaries. You will also be able to build positive relationships, working closely with staff and parents in order to share detailed information regarding the child's day to day activities and health needs.

This is a full-time role to start ASAP and hopefully going long-term Monday to Friday. The job will be at a nursery school and children's centre with a dedicated and supportive leadership team.

Experience in a similar role, or relevant education would be preferable - as would knowledge of Makaton, PECS or other educational techniques.
