This role has line management responsibility for 4 social workers, 1 of these posts is the missing coordinator and a business support officer. The team is supported by an embedded CAMHS clinician who has a key role in teams work.

The team is responsible for case-holding and the Practice Leader must have a good experience and understanding of approaches to contextual safeguarding and the statutory responsibilities for children in need of protection and children in the care of the Local Authority.

As this team is part of a bigger service development, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate flexibility and creativity in their approach and an openness to learning and development for the team.

This role reports to the Service Manager and must be able to work collaboratively with the Practice Leader for the 'edge of care' Keeping Families Together team and Lead Advisory Teacher, whom also sit within this service.
