This role will be working in a busy front-door Mental Health Access and Assessment Team.

The successful applicant will hold a 3-month winter pressures post to aid and assist in hospital discharges of complex mental health patients.

The post holder will attend Bed Management and Sec 117 meetings, assess patients under the Care Act of 2014, act as Best Interest Assessors and conduct capacity assessments.

One must have good working knowledge of DOLS, Guardianship, Court of Protection, S117 responsibilities and Ordinary Residence. In addition, hospital experience is strongly desired in order to deliver swift and effective outcomes to those most in need, working in tandem with the Hospital Social Worker and Support Worker.
