New Build Project Manager

£300-£350 per day

An experienced New Build Project Manager required for project management of new build residential projects including the management of consultants and contractors

To specify, commission and carry out investigations and option appraisals to deliver new build residential projects levering in external investment where required

To identify new development opportunities and carry out viability assessments of proposed schemes for consideration by the appropriate governance structure with the Council

To participate in one-to-one performance and development reviews/appraisals and contribute to the identification of your own and team development needs.

To specify, commission and carry out investigations and option appraisals to deliver new build residential projects levering in external investment where required.

To ensure regeneration and development projects are delivered within agreed timescales and financial budgets.

To initiate, create and develop new housing projects for direct delivery by the Council or for its wholly owned housing company in conjunction with development partners or other social housing providers as required.

To identify new development opportunities and carry out viability assessments of proposed schemes for consideration by the appropriate governance structure with the Council.

To negotiate with funding agencies to secure capital funding for the provision of new housing.

To negotiate on behalf of the Housing Service affordable housing provision on S106 agreements.

Proactively monitor the progress of Registered Providers in delivering their housing programme in the borough, including through the HCA IMS system.

To prepare Committee, Cabinet and senior officer reports on existing and new development initiatives and strategies.
