Job Summary - Music coordinator

Location: Lambeth, South East London

Start date: ASAP/September 2019

Salary: £120 - £160 per day

Remedy Education have a fantastic role available at one of our primary schools in Lambeth who are looking for a music teacher to deliver the music curriculum to EYFS, KS1 and KS2 children. Our friendly school highly values the importance of the music and the arts. Your time would be spent delivering the music curriculum as part of their PPA cover, whilst also leading the singing assemblies, school choir and music ensembles.

The ideal candidate will be able to deliver inspiring lessons in accordance with National Curriculum requirements to Primary school children. They must also be able to coordinate extra curriculum activities such as choirs and singing assemblies at an excellent standard.

The school has many music events throughout the year therefore the ideal candidate must be able to coordinate and showcase both school choirs and ensembles during these events.

The successful candidate needs to be confident in their ability to teach outstanding lessons, demonstrating enthusiasm and passion at all times. They must be able to have excellent behaviour and classroom management and be able to motivate and inspire children to exceed. Our teachers are consistent, and are able to 'think outside of the box' whilst also leading the music department at our schools. Essential Requirements:

2 years + UK primary music teaching experience

DBS Clearance

Able to engage and inspire at all times

A strong classroom management

Must be able to integrate in the school community and organise extra curriculum activities and concerts.
