MAKATON trained Teaching Assistant - Lewisham, South East London - ASASP Start

Remedy Education are looking for a Makaton Trained Teaching Assistant to work in our Primary School based in Lewisham South East London.

The position will be full-time and will involve supporting the pupils with Autism in and out of the classroom.

Due to the nature of the role we are looking for experienced Teaching assistants as the use of MAKATON and PECS are required on a regular basis as some of the students are non-verbal and low functioning. You must have previous experience of supporting pupils with ASC and be confident to support the pupils on 1:1 basis and in small group work projects.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday starting immediately.

You must have experience working with students with ASD and SEN to be accepted for this role.
