Remedy Education is looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a 2-form entry mainstream school based in Lewisham.

The school are looking for someone that is confident in their ability of the use of British Sign Language (BSL), Makaton or PECS techniques. The ideal candidate must be confident within their ability using British Sign Language (BSL), Makaton and or PECS techniques and working alongside the SENCo.

Location: Lewisham
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant - utilising the use of British Sign Language (BSL), Makaton or PECS techniques
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Long term
Contract Type: Long-term role
Full time/ Part time: full time
Minimum rate of pay: £75 - £85 Per day
Hours: 08:30 - 4pm Full day

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous SEN, Makaton and PECs experience
Previous experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH REMEDY EDUCATION, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two recent professional references
