Job description

Our client, Leicestershire County Council is looking for a social worker to their Physical Disabilities team.

37 hours per week

We are in need of an experienced Social Worker, they will be required to work from our Harborough based Offices, to support covering our Urgent Duty function, and to make 'See and Solve follow up visits' as required, this is to cover for a short period while we are completing our recruitment process to appoint to a permanent position within the team.

Predominantly will be related to OA adults 65+ and 18 - 65 year old adults with Physical Disabilities and Long Term Conditions, for individual's that live in the Harborough and Blaby Oadby and Wigston Area.

Preferably we want someone that has recently worked for LCC, as they will be aware of our IT systems ( Liquid Logic - LAS) and the current operational process that we are working within and have been for over the past 2 years ( TOM - target operational model).

The offer is for a 12 week period initially, but this may be able to be extended, depending on outcomes of recruitment for permanent posts.
