Our client, Lancashire County Council is looking for a Social Worker to join their Adults team.

To be part of a team of Social Workers and Social Care Officers who undertake Care Act assessments and support planning, Mental Capacity Assessments, Court of Protection and Welfare applications; provide a front line duty function for people living in the Hyndburn, Ribble Valley and part of Pendle working closely with those who access our service, local communities, providers and multi-disciplinary professionals. The team provides a service to those living in their own home, in hospital and secure settings. The team require increased support to progress Court of Protection reviews and new applications in particular and to undertake other duties as described.

You will need to be:

Social work england registered
Eligible to work in the UK
Atleast 1 year post qualifying experience
